Missouri's two large projects include Missouri Girls Town, located near
Kingdom City, a home for the care and treatment of neglected girls and the Sophomore
Pilgrimage, established in 1934, where annually, local GFWC clubs send the outstanding
sophomore from each high school to Jefferson City the second Tuesday in April.
