Zachariah Foss Home (ca. 1846)

Located on the southeast corner of Front and Lafayette streets, this two-story frame was built near the former ferry landing. In later years the streets were graded, exposing the brick-and-concrete foundation of the house.  Emily Foss married James W Owens, son of the town's founder.
