Turner Hall (1866)
Home of the Washington Turner society from 1866 until 1932, it is
located at 310 Jefferson Street. It was the center for more than half-century of
gymnastic, social, and dramatic activities of German immigrants. In 1932, it was sold to
the Elks Club. An addition on the front was done in 1940. Interior alterations have
occurred over the years.
