Noser’s Mill (early 1850’s)

Located 2 miles south of Beaufort on the Bourbeuse River, this pioneer stone flour mill, is the only water mill still standing in the county. Taken over by John Noser in 1878, the mill was the center of Noser Mill Village. The original log dam was replaced with a concrete dam in 1910.
